This machine has skilled CNC technology; this precision guarantees the same angle and leg length each time and that every bend angle is exact.

This new addition will minimise waste, increase productivity and conserve costs, all of which will benefit our customers.

Our small but powerful new plasma table can cut all metals; stainless and mild steel, aluminium, copper, brass, zinc etc. with a cut thickness from 0.5mm to 16mm.

It delivers excellent cut quality, and the operating software allows us to cut all shapes and sizes at the click of a mouse, thus extending our productivity in jobs requiring profiled components.

Tank Tastic!

Mild Steel Fabricated Chemical Tank

Here is a Tank Fabweld recently fabricated for a new client, crafted from 3mm mild steel sheet, with a lift off lid and complete with 3″bsp nipple fitting to front.  Two sections of universal beam welded to the underneath create sturdy legs and allow for easy manoeuvre.

The tank was fully leak tested before being red oxide primed and wet sprayed dark blue.IMG_5739_Fotor

Abstract Brass Fabrication

Fabricated Brass Mirror Support Frame

Fabweld have recently completed the construction of a one off brass frame which will support mirror sections to create a unique abstract piece. What makes this project special is that each piece of  T-Section used was individually fabricated by us, rather than buying in pre manufactured. The frame is now to be patternized  and finished by the client.

The Fabweld Team took part in Movember to raise money for Prostate and Testicular Cancer, calling themselves ‘The Hairy Welders’. It was great fun yet we were all looking forward to getting the razors out by the end of the month! The team raised over £500 for charity.

Olympics Work 2012

IMAGE 2Fabweld Metalworks is proud to have assisted in the manufacture of five obelisks for the 2012 Olympic Games. This work took 6 months to complete and pushed our team to the limit with long hours and tight deadlines. However, we enjoyed the challenge and seeing the finished structures on television made it all worthwhile.
